About Atlantis

Atlantis Expeditions was born out of the need for a more personalized experience for families and private groups. Our approach is to guide you in closer to what you want to see with expeditions geared toward education and a real opportunity to learn all about the intimate relationships between plants, animals and microorganisms.

Our expeditions like the Pelagic Life Open Water Encounter, Safari Jungle River Adventure, Natural History Night Walk, or the Sierpe Wetland Mangrove Experience involve local families along the way. This provides a soul-satisfying understanding in how everything is connected within the different ecosystems visited throughout the day.

Or specialize your day with us, we can organize something more specific like bird watching, or wildlife photography to see elusive target-specific species like wildcats, tapirs, or anything else you might have on your must-see list.

Our team will take care of all the details of the day from start to finish so your family or private group can sit back and enjoy what will be one of the highlights of your trip to Costa Rica.

Meet our Crew!

We are a costa rican family-owned business.
